Wadsworth Design Inc. (WDI) warrants to the original purchaser that all equipment and furniture manufactured by WDI is made of first class material and is free from defects in material and workmanship for a limited period of time starting from the original date of purchase. All other products sold or distributed by WDI are subject to the manufacturer’s warranties.
Wadsworth Design confidently stands behind its work with an unprecedented 3-year warranty on all millwork and upholstery. Metal fixtures (structural materials and connections) are covered by a 20-year warranty. All Blum brand cabinet hardware including hinges, drawer slides, hinge plates and fixing plates come with a limited lifetime warranty.
During this period WDI will, at its option, repair or replace any part or parts which prove to be thus defective if returned to Wadsworth Design. This shall be the sole remedy available under this warranty. No claims will be allowed for labor or other incidental costs. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and all claims must be made through the distributor from whom the equipment was purchased.
This limited warranty does not cover the damage caused in transit, improper installation, excessive use, improper cleaning or alteration. All warranties are limited to repair or replacement and remain at our discretion. Accessories and replacement parts may be available for purchase on select merchandise. Use of replacement parts provided by other manufacturers is not authorized by WDI and voids all product warranties and may adversely affect equipment performance. Warranty service is provided by WDI only and requires that the product(s) be shipped and delivered to WDI for repair. The warranty does NOT cover shipping charges to and from our repair centers.
Any returned unit exhibiting evidence of improper use, abuse, misuse, accident or alteration will not be eligible for repair or replacement under this program. In all cases, units are to be returned to Wadsworth Design freight prepaid. All units will be returned to the customer FOB our plant.
ALL equipment and furniture are to be used and operated by qualified, trained and licensed professionals ONLY. WDI is NOT liable for any improper use of equipment and furniture or any other consequential Wadsworth Design Inc. damages, including without limitation: fire, water, abuse and misuse. WDI does not warrant color variation with wood, fabric, and laminated materials. Fabrics, painted metals, and laminated materials are not warrantied against wear, fading, staining, soiling, crushing, peeling, chipping, all of which are influenced by the user-created environment or by the care to which the product is exposed during use.
Customers must receive prior authorization from WDI before merchandise subject to our warranty is shipped. Claims are to be made in writing to info@wadsworthdesign.com and must include pictures and a description of the claimed defect. This warranty is a warranty of replacement and does not include the removal of defective parts or the re-installation of the replacement parts, nor any equipment or furniture not installed by WDI. WDI is not responsible for any consequential damages and injuries resulting from equipment/furniture failure or service delays. In the event the defective product has been discontinued, WDI reserves the right to replace the defective product with a comparable current product.
These warranties are the only relief available. THESE WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WDI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES, EVEN IF IT HAS REASON TO KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT THEY ARE POSSIBLE. These warranties give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of damages, so the above exclusions and limitation may not apply to you. In the event the warranty exclusions do not apply to you then, where legally permissible, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the stated warranty period and no warranties apply after that period.
In circumstances in which the warranties provided herein do not apply, the products involved are, where legally permissible, still subject to the above disclaimer of implied warranties and the above limitation of damages. WDI does not authorize anyone, including its dealers, to create for it any other warranty obligations, or liability in connection with its products.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. IN NO EVENT IS WADSWORTH DESIGN RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OF ANY MEASURE WHATSOEVER. THIS WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE.
The product you have purchased may include Blum lift systems, concealed hinges and/or drawer runners, the finest in functional hardware. In keeping with our commitment to quality, integrity, and expert workmanship, this hardware meets or exceeds the highest industry standard requirements. Wadsworth Design Inc. Blum, Inc. (Blum) warrants its lift systems, hinges and/or drawer Runners, contained in this product, but not the product itself, against defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the products. Blum will send the original consumer purchaser, without charge, new Blum hardware to replace any defective Blum hardware subject to this warranty. This warranty is a warranty of replacement only. Blum specifically does not warrant removal of the defective hardware nor installation of new hardware. This warranty does not cover hardware which has been incorrectly installed, exposed to excessive loads or otherwise used in any manner contrary to its intended purpose. In the event the defective Blum hardware is obsolete or has been discontinued, Blum reserves the right to replace the defective hardware with a current offering. No guarantee of interchangeability is offered.
